At Resonance Natural Health we have specialties in several types of acupuncture. Many people are familiar with Chinese acupuncture, which uses hair-thin needles to adjust people’s energy, and therefore their health. We also have additional training in a Japanese style of Acupuncture called Hari, and The Balance Method. 

We have developed and unique blend of all of these styles to ensure that we can be both enormously effective and very gentle!

We practice in a "community style" setting which means that for most treatments you will be relaxing in a large room in a reclining chair.  Many people find this to be a very comfortable way to receive acupuncture. And, using this variety of unique styles also allows us to treat any area of the body by inserting needles only in the lower parts of the arms and the legs.  This equates to fewer needles with the same overall effectiveness. We also have a table available to work on the back area if needed.

What should I expect at my first visit?
During your first visit, we will have an extended intake session where we will discuss your health in detail. Your first visit is also an opportunity for you to get to know us, get to know how the clinic works, and ask any questions you may have.  We will do an acupuncture treatment and discuss any other recommendations that we may have.

What about follow-up visits?
Depending on your health condition you may need several follow up visits to achieve the best results. Follow up visits are about an hour.

During your visit we will review your goals, health history, preferences, lifestyle, diet, and current and past medications and supplements. We will conduct an extensive interview to make sure that we have a clear picture of you and where you want to go.

We will also use QRA Testing during your visit to take a deeper look at your core health concerns and what will work best to help them resolve quickly and with lasting results. QRA Testing helps us create a precise, customized program especially for you. We use this testing to determine exactly what and how much of a particular herb, food, or supplement will help a particular body organ or system function better. Sometimes there are several choices to help a health issue, rather than guess at which one will work the best, this test gives us the answer right away.

We can also use QRA Testing to figure out what you may be allergic to. We have a simple technique that then can be done to eliminate most allergies to foods and environmental factors such as pollen and pets.

QRA - Quantum Reflex Analysis

How do you know that you are taking the right supplements and the right amount of what you really need?

Imagine trying to put out a house fire with a garden hose. You have the right tools, a hose and water, but in an insufficient strength to get the job done. You'd be standing there all day with no results. Similarly you cannot wash your dishes with a fire hose, you'd break them, or they would get washed away!

With nutritional supplements it is often the case that you might have the right things to take but maybe not in the right amounts, it could be too much or too little. This is where we come in to help. And this is where our testing method really shines and delivers extremely precise, accurate information to help us come up with w program that is exactly right for you.

In our office we use a very specific test based on energy. It is the same principal that acupuncture uses. Similar to a circulatory system of blood, your body has a circulatory system of energy. This energy is also known as Chi (pronounced chee). This energy system flows in channels called meridians. Each meridian is related to a different organ within the body. When the meridian tests weak, then the energy to the organ is weak, and thus disease or un-health can happen.

The O ring test, which we primarily use, was discovered to work in Japan. Discovered and patented by Yoshiaki Omura, MD, Ph.D. The O-ring test has been tested in scientific studies and clinically proven to work. The O-ring test is based on the fact that the strength of the fingers used directly reflects the condition of the stimulated organ.

Stimulating acupuncture points for corresponding organs with firm pressure is the input needed to perform an accurate O-ring test. As the tester goes through all the necessary points, the strength of the O-ring is measured and directly correlated to the health of each organ, gland or chief complaint center.

This test is used to choose the correct remedy and how much of it is needed for each individual to create a completely custom tailored program. Bi-digital O-ring test is accurate and incredibly helpful as a diagnostic tool as well as a remedy selector. When you take (internally or topically) specific nutrients to heal these meridians, the body will start to heal rapidly. When there is nutrient deficiency, your body just can’t heal. We address underlying issues, not just the symptoms. QRA is an incredible tool to help us identify these issues.

The O Ring test is very specific and has been proven to work in research studies. In fact it took seven years for the patent to be approved on the test as it had to be proven consistent and reliable every time. Since we’ve added this to our practice, we have much quicker healing with our patients than before.

We also use vials that have extracts of foods in them to challenge the body and see if the body remains strong or turns weak. We use this method to determine if there is an allergy to a food that may be causing problems within the body at the time of testing.

After we diagnose the weaknesses at a specific point on the body, we then use highly charged, beyond organic, toxin and excipient free remedies to see which ones will strengthen the target area. These are the remedies that we then recommend you take, to build health within the body.
